LITERATURE IN THE VIEWS OF KALANITHI

#. I still felt literature provided the best account of the life of the mind .

#. Literature not only illuminate others experience ,it provided , i believed , the richest material for moral reflection .

#. I studied literature and philosophy to understand what makes life meaningful

#. I had come to see language as an almost supernatural force existing between people , bringing our brains shielded in  centimeters - thick skulls into communion.
